Sue and Craig Luchsinger’s Husky Lucy

Lucy

Lucy

Lucy

Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds…
When Lucy comes to mind I think of that song…
So full of sparkle, so present, with such
A strong desire for all good things life had to offer her!
Surely another very lucky SOUL, to be taken into the
Hearts and home of the Luchsingers…
Everything about Lucy was large and extreme.
Her personality, her intelligence and her beauty.
She came into the world where nobody wanted her,
Even flying on a terrifyingly, noisy airplane where
She was told she was ugly! Can you imagine?
But…Craig and Lucy bonded immediately.
Their LOVE is deep; their LOVE is strong.
Lucy nurtured Bill through his puppy and teenage months.
And when Sue said, “Lucy, round Bill up”, she was
Off like a shot to herd Bill into the house!
Exactly like any big sister, she would tease and torment
Her “baby brother”. Her entertainment was so exquisite! And with this in mind
I would smile and chuckle a little when Lucy would cause Sue
So much worry about not eating her meal, with gourmet sauces and tidbits mixed in.
But this was not a Laughing matter!
Sue’s fear was as TRUE as a mother’s only could be.
Little did anyone know Lucy had a hidden problem, a very threatening problem?
The doctors didn’t even know exactly What went wrong.
And Lucy was snatched away……just that fast…
Still it is as if it can’t be true….
Yes…Lucy was extreme…
I will remember her majestic BEAUTY….And that song,
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds…
Good night Lu Lu, we will see you when we AWAKEN.

Marian Siegel’s Dog Connie

Connie

Dear Everyone

It is with heavy heart I have to tell you that I had to put Connie, my elkhound to sleep today. This weekend she becme lame on her right front leg. Today I had my friend Amy, a surgical specialist evaluate her, and she had developed a lesion in her spine as I suspected. She lived a living hell the first seven years of her life. These last four years were a gift for her and a gift for me. How anyone could abuse an animal as sweet as her is beyond my understanding.

So lets all lift our glasses, with our drinks of choice and wish Connie farewell!!!

I am taking a migraine pill and downing a bottle of Guinness extra stout !!!

I will miss you baby girl

Marian

Dear Marian…Canine Comfort lifts our coffe mugs to Connie along with our heart felt wishes for peace and a happy return to our TRUE home…It is our belief that she will be alert for your arrival to greet and THANK you for the LOVE and care you provided in her last years.

A generous donation has been made to Canine Comfort, Inc,. in honor of the veterinarian who took such good care of Daisy, who enjoyed a long, happy life with her beloved friend, Maureen Dowd. Maureen will hold Daisy’s memory in her heart and mind at her happiest, in Alaska digging in the snow, chasing sticks and splashing through the icy cold streams. One day the two will enjoy a happy reunion and continue into the next chapter with their endless love.

For the Love of Trigger

Trigger

A tiny dog died last night…
It was too sad to see you go.
Trigger was a handsome guy…
We loved to primp & preen our little bo.
You brought such fun & love to all of us…
How could ANYONE treat you so.
One day we shall walk down the road
you had to take too soon…
And there you’ll be,
running to greet us, I just know.

By Kathy Sweeney

Trigger was born November 1, 2008. He was only 7 months old & was hand raised by Jasmin, Shelby Lee, Soren, and Elaine Simeon. Trigger will be especially missed by Mr. Moose. Absolute pure meanness took him away from us on June 8, 2009.
